Q: Is this insurance?

A: No, this is a healthcare membership, not an insurance policy.

Q: Does DPC cover hospital care, X-rays, specialty care, or medications?

A: Plans include discounts on diabetic supplies and prescriptions as well as imaging including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds. Hospital care is currently not covered.

Q: If I have any preexisting conditions like diabetes or hypertension, can I still sign up?

A: Yes, we treat these preexisting conditions.

Q: If I have Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare, can I still enroll with DPC?

A: No, unfortunately, we cannot accept these patients due to insurers’ rules.

Q: How does DPC work with the marketplace health insurance policies?

A: DPC programs are a great complement to traditional insurance healthcare plans. 

Q: Is there a limit on the number of times I can see a doctor?

A: No, there is no limit.

Q: Can DPC treat any medical condition?

A: DPC physicians can treat many medical conditions. There may be times when patients will need to be referred to a specialist. Specialist care is not covered.
